Get Fully Funded Formula

There is plenty of money out there to fully fund your organization. You just need the right mix of skill and technique to get it.

After ten years of raising money, I’ve developed this formula for raising all the money you need. Here’s my formula to Get Fully Funded.

Compelling mission. Your mission must appeal to a group of potential donors who have the interest and ability to support your organization. Your donors must be moved by your mission and inspired by the stories of your work.

Strong leaders. The leaders of your organization must understand and embrace their roles. Your top staff and Board of Directors should be well-trained and willing to do their work.

Donor-based fundraising. The strategies and techniques you choose to raise money must be donor-centric and ethical. You must strive above all to build a relationship with your donors and avoid transactional fundraising. As a part of your fundraising, you must provide your donors with effective communications to share the information the donor craves.

Your passion. The stronger your belief in your cause and the deeper your concern for those who benefit from your organization, the more powerful your fundraising efforts will be.

The combination of these four elements will give you the foundation for a successful resource development effort and help you Get Fully Funded.
